How V3 compares to the public model

One thing I’m also watching behind the scenes is how Version 3 is stacking up against the public Version 1 results on the site. So far, V3 looks very comparable on straight-up winners, hitting 61.5% in my current tracking sample versus 61.8% for Version 1 on the live OddsRX performance page. Where V3 has not stood out yet is against the spread, where it is sitting at 50.0% compared to 52.1% for the public model. The most encouraging early difference is on totals: V3 is currently at 58.2% in the smaller sample, while the live Version 1 page remains at 49.0%. That said, this is not a clean apples-to-apples comparison yet. The public page is based on a much larger sample — 1,033 side picks, 1,008 spread picks, and 1,000 totals — while my current V3 tracking sample is still much smaller, so I do not want to overstate any early edge. For now, I think the fairest takeaway is that V3 looks in line on winner picking, behind on spreads, and promising on totals — but still too early to make any strong claims.
